Vote-OK is democracy in action. Volunteers are helping MPs and candidates who support the repeal of the Hunting Act and care about the countryside.

The catalyst for the formation of Vote-OK was the ban on hunting and especially the then Rural Affairs Minister Alun Michael's remark: "...if people wish to continue their opposition to legislation, they have the option of the ballot box through which to express their views." (15th September 2004).

Amazingly 2009 marks twelve years since the Hyde Park Rally and seven years since over 400,000 of us marched in London to demonstrate our support for hunting and the rural way of life.

We have a real chance of finishing what we started back in 1997 by legitimately changing the Government of this country and helping to elect an administration that is committed to rural affairs and sympathetic to the hopes and aspirations of the countryside. Repeal, and taking hunting and all other country sports off the political agenda must be our universal aim.
