Vote-OK is a political campaigning organisation which encourages supporters of countryside activities to get involved in active political campaigning. Vote-OK is Registered as a “Third Party – non-political campaigner” with the Electoral Commission.

We store name, address, telephone and email information, together with details of past communications and details of affiliations to relevant clubs and organisations.

We collect information from forms on our website and from email and telephone communications. We have a database of historical contact information and sometimes receive contact information from other clubs or organisations. We also access and store relevant publicly-available information found on the internet.
What do we do with the information and why?
We use it to meet our legitimate interest of supplying people with information about political events, campaigns and activities which we believe will be of relevance to them.
Data Sharing
Vote-OK only shares individual information with allied clubs and organisations involved in its campaigns as necessary to carry out its campaigning work. Vote-Ok will not sell or give its contacts database to commercial companies, political parties or any other third party.
Vote-OK may from time to time have to share certain information with official bodies, as required to comply with Electoral Law.

We will hold information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity for which the data was originally obtained. We may retain some data for longer if so required by Electoral Law or other legal purposes.
